Who We Are
Payan & Payan is a full-service CPA firm specializing in comprehensive individual and business income tax planning and preparation. Jason Payan established the firm in 2005 and has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to domestic and international clients in all aspects related to U.S. income taxation. Our experience ranges from income tax preparation to more in-depth services such as income tax and financial planning.

Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients’ needs, thorough research, and sound analysis. Our firm is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism. We seek to be a long-term, integral member of our clients’ financial team.
Meet our Team
Jason specializes in income tax planning, research and structuring for corporations, partnerships, and individuals. In the last 25 years he has served clients in the areas of Professional Service Providers, Real Estate, Restaurant Operations, and Gaming. He has six years public accounting experience in Big 4 Public Accounting and is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Masters in Taxation. Additionally, he is a member of the Nevada Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Melissa has worked in the public and private accounting sectors for over 25 years, specializing in income tax preparation for individuals and businesses. She also has extensive knowledge of financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analysis. She has worked on clients in the Real Estate, Manufacturing, Medical and Retail Industries. She started her career at a Big 4 Accounting Firm after graduating from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
Alba serves as a Tax Manager for Payan & Payan CPAs. She is responsible for the preparation of individual & business income tax returns, small business payroll and foreign client liaison. As a Certified Acceptance Agent, she facilitates ITIN applications as well. Alba is a native of Tirana, Albania. Prior to joining Payan & Payan CPAs, she served as an Administrative Assistant for the VA-MD College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech. She is a graduate of Brigham Young University in Economics and Math.
Dominick received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to Payan & Payan, CPAs, he worked for a Big 4 Accounting Firm. He has worked with clients in the areas of Technology, Real Estate Development, Gaming, Construction, and Hospitality. He specializes in small business and individual taxation which includes tax planning, income tax preparation, entity structuring and tax research. He is a member of the Nevada Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kellie received her associates degree in accounting from Front Range Community College in Colorado. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Las Vegas, where she has worked as Office Manager and Bookkeeper for various CPA firms as well as several businesses, including automotive, landscaping, and wedding industry. Here at Payan & Payan CPAs, Kellie works as our liaison between clients and office staff ensuring the efficiency of day-to-day office operations. She plays an integral part at cultivating our company culture and making sure that we provide quality service to our clients. Kellie spends her free time enjoying nature and camping with her husband and son.
Jackie serves as our Office Administrator. She supports our office staff by assisting with all clerical tasks and client needs. Jackie has vast experience working in accounting in various industries, as well as experience in law offices, college business management, and local hospitality. Her dedication to providing followed-through resolutions to the questions and needs of our clients makes her valuable here at Payan & Payan CPAs. She enjoys spending time with her kids, husband, and friends, but loves being a pug mom most of all.
